An annual Summer Reading Club is offered to encourage kids to read throughout the summer months. Kids of all ages are encouraged to join in the fun. Activities include presentations, crafts, and games. Many Summer Reading Club activities require pre-registration. Please note that whenever you see a double asterisk after the program date, seating will be limited and you can register for the program at the Circulation Desk. The 2012 Summer Reading Club theme is "DREAM BIG, READ!"

SLEEPOVER SHENANIGANS

Summer Reading participants who complete a chapter book and a book report will be eligible for a sleepover at the library on Friday, August 10, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. Participants need to be picked up at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11, and will need a signed parental permission slip before the event. If there is a large number of participants, a drawing will be held to determine who will participate. Reading more chapter books gives you a better chance of being selected.

Please pick up book report forms at the Children's Desk downstairs. This program will be limited to 20 participants in third through sixth grade.

  Story Time

June 5 - August 9, 2012

Story Times are Tuesdays from 5:30 - 6:00 pm and Thursdays from 11:00 - 11:30 am and is open to Preschoolers 2 1/2 - 5 years old. 
Pre-Registration is not required.
